On 27 May, the award ceremony of the drawing contest “Mobility Without Borders!” for children aged between 10 and 13 years took place during the Europe Day celebrations on the Northern Avenue in Yerevan. The contest was held within the framework of the EU-funded project “Support to Migration and Border Management in Armenia” (MIBMA).
ICMPD in Armenia invited children from 10 to 13 years old to express their ideas and vision about their favorite cities and countries of the European Union. The goal of the contest was to identify, support and promote young talented artists, showcasing their work to a wide audience and encourage children to gain a deeper understanding on and rethink the process of mobility.
Overall, 40 drawings were submitted by children from different schools in Yerevan, illustrating various cities of the EU. The drawings were judged on the basis of originality, overall design, and drawing technique. As a result of the contest, 3 works were awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, and 5 children were awarded with motivational prizes. All participants received Certificates of Participation and Thank-you gifts.
ICMPD in Armenia thanks all the participants of the contest and congratulates the winners! All the drawings are featured on https://www.mibma.eu/en/gallery
